(March 11, 2008) Williamsville, New York: National Fuel Resources, Inc. (NFR) announced today that for the fourth consecutive year, the County of Erie awarded their contract for natural gas supply to NFR. In a separate bid award, the Town of Amherst chose NFR as their energy services company for natural gas supply.
Specifically, NFR will be supplying 1,594,784 decatherms of natural gas to government offices and facilities throughout Erie County. This bid award represents a continuation of service that NFR has provided to Erie County over the past few years. In another successful bid, the Town of Amherst has contracted with NFR for 330,460 decatherms of natural gas. Under this bid, NFR will be the natural gas supplier for municipal facilities throughout the Town of Amherst.
